We were never meant to make disciples alone!
The best environment for us to learn about Jesus, to worship Jesus, to obey Jesus, to be changed by Jesus is in community with others who love and follow Jesus!
We desire to invite others into our working, playing, eating, and living so that they can see and hear the good of Jesus at work in our lives.
We desire to make disciples of Jesus TOGETHER in gospel community.
We desire to see our city transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ as an outpouring of our lives lived in community and on mission .
A Christian life is lived in community. Being baptized into the Father gives us the identity of family.
Jesus called His disciples to follow Him together. He prayed in John 17 that they would be unified, working together, as they embarked on the mission He would give them.
We don’t live life alone. These are places of honest study and open discussion of Scripture (John 8:31-32; 1 Timothy 4:6) and joyful fellowship for God’s glory and our joy (Acts 2:42; 1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Groups are where we gather to know others and to be known. Being baptized into the Son (our King) gives us an identity of servants.
They are spaces for earnest prayer for each other and the world around us (James 5:16; 1 Timothy 2:1-2), and genuine care for each other’s needs (Galatians 6:2; Romans 12:9-16).
Groups give us the space to proclaim the gospel to our city, our neighbors as a group of disciple-makers.Being baptized into the Holy Spirit gives us the identity of missionaries.
It's in Groups that we receive strategic equipping for the mission God has given us to make disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 1:28; Acts 28:31).
Where do Groups meet?
Each Group meets in a different home throughout the city.
What can I expect my first time visiting a Group?
Typically, Groups open with fellowship and then move into a time of discussion based on the sermon series from Sunday mornings or a study the group is working through. You are welcome to share if you feel comfortable!
Why are some Groups no longer available?
We like to keep our Groups small because we believe they foster an easier space in which to open up and share honestly with one another. We value spaces where everyone can be known and cared for. Once a group reaches it's capacity, we will close it to more members for the health of the group.
Is there childcare available?
Most groups have childcare in their homes for Group members' children. There are a few exceptions so if you need childcare please note that in your sign up form and we will work with your group request
I still have questions. Who can I talk to?
Please email email@example.com or call our church office at 229-405-1843 if you still have questions!
