ANYONE CAN REGISTER FOR THE ESL BASIC WORKSHOP - HELD ON AUGUST 24, 25, 2018 FRIDAY 6:00 P.M. TO 9:30 P.M. SATURDAY 8:30 A.M. – 5:30 P.M.

What is ESL? It is an outreach ministry to teach English to those of another language and give them the Good News of Jesus Christ. They will be taught conversational English in a relaxed setting. Our goal is not just to teach them English but to also interact with them as we share meals and have other activities outside of the classroom.  

What language will we speak in the classroom? English Only
Do you need to know another language? No

Is there a need for an ESL Ministry in Albany? Yes, according to www.PeopleGroups.info, (a NAMB/IMB website), there are 678 people in and around Greenbriar Church's U.S. Census Track and who speak a language other than English at home, which include:

Basic Workshop – What is the purpose? To equip and train those involved in this missional community and provide other churches/organizations with training.
